Bocce
The Bocce Club meets every Friday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am during the warmer months.
We play bocce outdoors at Borough Park on Pine Street in Waldwick. There is a bathroom near the two bocce courts.
For the colder winter months, if there are enough guaranteed participants, we will play indoors at a site to be determined at a minimal cost. There were not enough Hobbyists for the 2025-26 indoor season.
When we are outside, there is no cost to participate. Everyone who shows will play. Bring a chair, bring a rake. The outdoor season runs from when the weather gets milder in March until it gets too cold in November.

Fishing
The Fishing Club starts in early-mid April. We begin with striped bass and continue with stripers until early-mid May when we fish for fluke. Sea bass are also a popular specie to target during May and June. There are no hard rules. The fish will tell us when they are active. Striped bass are active throughout the fall into December. Blackfish are available in the late fall. We generally use party boats out of Atlantic Highlands. We will try to organize at least one smaller private charter fishing trip. We will meet in the early morning hours at a designated time and place (usually at a member's home).
We have a freshwater part. We will try to organize a two day trip to Lake George in May-June. We fish with Lake George licensed fishing guide Jeff Smith out of Bolton Landing. We fish for bass, perch, and pickerel, and we sometimes troll for lake trout.
