Poker
Two types of Poker are played by our Members on alternate Fridays throughout the year.
One week it's conventional High-Low Poker (no wild card games) and the following week it's Texas Holdem (as seen on TV).
Neither game is very expensive to play and a lot of fun is had by all. We try to take turns playing at each other's homes. We begin playing at 12:30pm or 1:00pm and usually we end no later than 4:30pm.
Anyone interested in High-Low Poker and/or in Texas Holdem should call Dan Wolf.

Pinochle
Pinochle is an exciting and competitive game with a special deck of cards.
We only use A, 10, K, Q, J, and 9. There are two of each card in the deck.
We play two versions. On Wednesday, from 10am to 2pm in the church, we play standard pinochle.
It is also the starting point for interested members who have never played the game or don’t remember because it was a while ago since they played. We gently instruct our friends in the strategy of bidding, melding, and playing the hand that was dealt to them to win the game.
On Monday, from 12:30pm to 3:00pm in a member’s club house or a private home, we play an advanced pinochle game using double or triple decks of cards.
This version adds an exciting aspect of chance to the game.
Anyone interested in joining us can contact club chairman or the deputy chairman.
